The Ministry of Education oversees all schools within Andervaan - whether they are privately or publicly funded. They are tasked with ensuring that the highest standards in education are maintained - academically, and morally. The Ministry of Education is also responsible for developing the curriculum taught in schools, at each grade level.
Citizenship training is considered an integral part of the Andervaanian educational system - and some argue, the most important part of school. Each day, students recite their personal pledge to the nation, as well as sing the Andervaan National Anthem. They learn through both history and civics lessons their duties, and the glory of their native Andervaan. The Ministry of Education ensures that all schools within Andervaan produce outstanding citizens, ready and willing to do their part of the betterment of their great nation.
